"MEMORIES" OPENS ON FEBRUARY 26TH
We are delighted to welcome the work of our goddess of soft sculpture to Woot Bear. This is the perfect time to feel the beautiful emotions of warmth and gentleness that Eimi's pieces present.
Eimi Takano is a Japanese artist who specializes in creating Plushy Toys. She started making Plush Toys and Art Toys in 2012. After graduating from the Tokyo Zokei Art University, she began to pursue her career as an artist.
Takano credits her childhood love of kawaii Japanese characters, her affection for American and Western antiques, and various cultures as influencing her artistic style.
This work's theme is "memories," encouraging her viewers to feel nostalgic.
Takano hopes her work makes her audience feel the joy of meeting new friends while bringing smiles to their faces.
