Artist bio:

mr clement is a sculptor and painter originally from Hong Kong, nowadays living between Tokyo and Taipei. Famed for his seemingly friendly graphic novels, paintings, and sculptures, often featuring his main character LAPIN, a rabbit who is forever in a state of melancholic searching. While his work draws inspiration from Classical compositional elements, mr clement's style is defined by his own minimalist aesthetic and humour. This simplicity speaks to his audience who have grown up with modern pop culture and contemporary visual entertainment. His sculptures communicate complex emotions through their form with a romantic yet playful touch. mr clement has an MA from Royal College of Art, London, and has exhibited in Los Angeles, Chicago, London, Paris, Berlin, Munich, Sofia, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Taiwan, among others.
